Product description
The Light Dependent Resistor circuit board is a simple introduction to electronics. The Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) is a sensor that sense darkness and will turn on the colour changing LED. The colour changing LED with slowly cycle through 7 different colours when turned on. The LDR is sensitive and the LED will begin to to illuminate when daylight starts to fade and will turn itself off when there is sufficient light. Suitable for all key stages this circuit board will compliment mood light projects and alarms. The LED light dispersion can be enhanced using Acrylic or Polypropylene casing. Plenty of space on the circuit board allows students to safely solder components without interfering with each other. The board comes with an open ended USB cable which can by plugged into standard USB sockets for power.
