Product Description

This is an environmentally friendly SW-520D tilt switch that allows users to produce a unique and creative way of switching. The inside has a rolling metal ball and when in the vertical position the ball rolls onto the contacts completing the circuit. When the switch is in a vertical position the circuit is closed (on position), when tilted 15 degrees or more the circuit is open (off position). Note:The tilt switch needs to be upright to create a closed position.

Also called a 'Vibration Sensor' it is particularly sensitive and can be used in a variety of projects whether it requires simple switching or detecting movement. See video below for demonstration.
