At StartDesigning, we create high-quality Design & Technology resources that are practical, engaging and ready to use in the classroom. Our aim is to support teachers with curriculum-focused projects that develop creativity, technical knowledge, practical skills and confidence.

All resources are designed by an experienced secondary Design & Technology teacher and are built around real classroom practice. Every project has been created to support clear progression in designing, making, evaluating and technical knowledge, while also helping teachers reduce planning workload and deliver consistent lessons across different abilities.

Projects are designed to be engaging, modern and accessible for all learners, with a strong focus on practical outcomes and clear step-by-step learning. We aim to provide resources that not only support students in developing technical and creative skills, but also help departments build a coherent and progressive KS3 curriculum.
