2. Ordering & Payment
We aim to make the procurement process as easy as possible for educational institutions. Orders can be placed directly through our website. For schools using purchase orders, please contact our team to set up an account. Payment terms are typically 30 days for registered UK schools, while individual orders are processed at the time of purchase.
3. Prices & Currency
All prices are listed in Great British Pounds (GBP). While we strive to keep our parts affordable for school budgets, please note that prices may change periodically due to supplier costs. Any changes will be updated on our site, and the price at the time of your order is the one we will honour.
4. Shipping Basics
We deliver to schools and residential addresses throughout the UK. We work with reliable couriers to ensure your components arrive safely and in time for your planned lessons. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size of your order and your location.
5. Returns & Fair Play
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If a component is faulty or was damaged during shipping, please let us know within 14 days and we will arrange a replacement or refund. For change of mind returns, items must be in their original, unopened packaging to ensure they can be used by another school.
6. Teacher & School Responsibilities
When ordering, teachers and school administrators are responsible for ensuring that the parts selected are appropriate for the age group and skill level of their students. Please ensure that all kits are used under proper adult supervision in a safe workshop environment.
7. Liability Disclaimer
While we provide quality parts and guidance, Startdesigning is not liable for any accidents or injuries that occur during the use of our products in the classroom. Safety in the workshop remains the responsibility of the school and the supervising teacher. We do our best to ensure information on our site is accurate, but we cannot guarantee zero errors.
